There's A Lot to Know About Owning A Cell Phone...

...and Amcomm Wireless is Gonna Tell You

Worcester, MA –Ask the typical high school kid about buying a cell phone and they’ll most likely tell you, “It’s, like, no big deal. You walk in, point to the latest, hot model, and get connected. Like, it’s like so easy.” Wrong!

“Most kids buy a phone and think, ‘Wow! Free VCast! Free music downloads!’ What they don’t realize is that additional fees often apply,” said Dan Johnson, owner of Amcomm Wireless located at 88 Shrewsbury Street, Worcester. “When you buy a phone from us, you know everything there is to know about how your cell phone works and what your plan covers. The last thing we want our customers to feel is that they’ve been blindsided by hidden charges and fees. You won’t get that kind of dedicated customer service from most of our competitors.”

Dan and his wife, Melody, are co-owners of Amcomm Wireless, an authorized Verizon Retailer. When the Johnson’s made the decision to open an Amcomm Wireless franchise, their number one priority was customer service.

“Not only do we carry the latest in cell phones and accessories, we are certified to do repair work on all makes and models. So if you drop your phone, bend the antenna, or in any way damage your phone, stop in and I’ll take a look at it. And it’s a good chance I can repair it for you on-site.”

Together, Dan and Melody Johnson have nearly twenty years experience in the wireless industry. “I was a manager at Verizon for fifteen years and my wife worked there for four years. We know cellular technology.”

With so many kids today involved in numerous sports and other after school programs, a cell phone has become a necessity in keeping kids connected to their parents. “We are offering high school students an exclusive promotion through Central Mass Sports Magazine. “For the next six months we’ll be running ads in the magazine, offering a different promotion each month. Be sure to check the ad because you may need to be wearing your team uniform to get that month’s special!”

The Johnson’s are long-time high school athletics supporters. Dan was quite the athlete during his years at Joseph P. Keefe Vocational High School in Framingham. He was varsity in four sports: hockey, football, baseball, and soccer. “We are thrilled to support this sports magazine and the high school athletic community. We invite you to stop in the store and introduce yourself. And if we can help you out with a cell phone, an accessory, or a repair, Melody and I are more than happy to serve you.”   -#30-
