"The only thing that is constant is change."
Heraclitus hit that change nail on the head, indeed, yet it doesn't make it any less frightening. Change, and the uncertainty it brings, can cause us stress and anxiety, and so embracing it is the only way we will take control of our lives.
"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives.
It is the one that is the most adaptive to change."
~ Charles Darwin
Accepting and embracing change allows us to adapt and become more flexible, more resilient. And it is our capacity for resilience that enables us to deal with life's difficulties. Change can be transformative, allowing us to see what we are truly capable of doing and being.
Change requires three action steps:
- Thinking differently
- Acting differently
In this program I will offer guidance on how to
- explore your skill set,
- re-purpose your skill set; and
- develop an action plan.
